First session

SCROOMS Beginner Guide: From Leo to Your First Upgrade

Start in Songkeeper’s Grove and let Leo’s task give the visit a clear order: receive a starter instrument, learn a musical catch, and return before making the merchant purchase. I would complete this loop before chasing rare creatures, so the next quest begins with controls and equipment you recognize.

Opening-session result Complete the introductory catch, find the seller, and equip the purchased instrument. Owning the new tool is different from using it.

Continue from the step you have already finishedRead your current objective and resume at the missing catch, turn-in, sale, purchase, or equip action. You do not need another gift when returning halfway through the tutorial.

  1. Accept Leo’s starter gift

    At the Grove spawn

    • Speak to Leo at spawn, marked by the question mark and green arrow. Accept the Wooden Lute and read the opening objective.
    • Select the instrument from your hotbar and follow the prompt. The free gift lets you learn catching before shopping.
  2. Finish a musical catch and return

    During Getting Started

    • Finish timing, frequency matching, and catch-zone movement. Keep the creature inside until the capture bar fills.
    • Return to Leo for the opening turn-in. Its documented reward is 1,350 XP and 125 Chimes, separate from later sales.
  3. Sell, buy, then equip

When the tutorial sends you to the merchant

    • Find Julian’s wooden stall and follow the sale step. Read the current offer; the opening walkthrough shows a 100-Chime Tamer’s Guitar.
    • Open Equipment Bag, select Instruments, choose the guitar, and equip it. Close the bag and confirm the character uses it.
Practice before expanding the route

I would make another ordinary Grove catch with the equipped tool before travelling farther. This checks basic controls before an unfamiliar location adds another problem.

SCROOMS Codes: Code Availability

No active redeemable string is verified in the current list. Launch-period guides also report no established redemption feature. There is nothing here to copy today: a free-Chimes headline, community name, or the word “launch” is not a code.

Open the current code list
Monitoring verified availability

No active codes are listed: Follow an actual offer

A future creator announcement can change availability. Until a string and its conditions are established, use catching, quests, and selling for progression. This list does not promise a code schedule.

Match this Roblox experience

Confirm that an offer belongs to the SCROOMS game linked here. Similar mushroom names, another Roblox game, or an older character guide can describe completely different reward systems.

Find the exact string

A usable offer needs the text intended for redemption. Do not turn a promotional headline, screenshot label, creator name, or Discord invitation into a guessed code.

Read the reward and conditions together

Keep any stated reward, expiry, and usage restrictions attached to the real offer. A claim of free currency does not establish its amount or validity for your session.

Confirm the displayed redemption method

Follow a verified creator instruction and the interface actually present in the game. The current guides establish no redeem button, so this wiki does not supply a made-up menu path.

Return when an offer is established

Bookmark the code list if rewards are your main interest. The page provides a place to check later; it does not send automatic email alerts or guarantee that new codes will appear.

SCROOMS Tier List: Early Catching Instruments

This editorial S–C order prioritizes extended frequency reach, then control and tuning, then the accessible introductory upgrade, and finally free practice. It compares four documented early tools, not a complete endgame roster or measured catch probabilities. Change the order for your target and budget.

Editorial progression orderReach, control, and access

The order favors expanded catching capability over starter access. Violin reach and tambourine control come from early descriptions. Current exact prices and later instruments are outside this preview.

  • Frequency reach for a target
  • Catch-zone control and Tune Speed
  • Introductory price and free access
GradeInstrument and purposeDocumented advantagePractical choice
S
Violin of PilgrimageFrequency-reach priority
Documented advantage
  • The early description gives it a larger frequency range, making reach its distinct progression purpose.
Practical choice

Check current reach against your target, then check access and price. This grade does not prove the highest catch chance.

A
Adventurer’s TambourineControl and tuning priority
Documented advantage
  • The early description emphasizes higher Tension and Tune Speed, addressing follow response and the tuning stage.
Practical choice

Consider it for tuning or follow-response problems. Faster tuning does not automatically solve keeping the creature inside the zone.

B
Tamer’s GuitarOpening merchant upgrade
Documented advantage
  • The opening walkthrough shows 6% Precision and 5 Luck, compared with the starter lute’s 2% Precision and 0 Luck.
Practical choice

Follow the introductory 100-Chime offer and equip through the bag. Read later offers separately; this is not a full price list.

C
Wooden LuteFree first-catch practice
Documented advantage
  • Leo supplies the starter gift, allowing the opening catching task before a paid instrument purchase.
Practical choice

Use it to learn timing and drag controls. The grade reflects progression scope, not a reason to skip free practice.

This preview covers four documented early catching instruments. The Ocarina is a song utility and is explained separately.

Collection planning

SCROOMS Scrooms: Choose Your Next Scroomdex Catch

After ordinary catches, use the Index to choose a specific collection target. Area pages, hidden entries, rarity, and frequency describe different parts of that choice. I would select one missing entry in a familiar area first. A changed name prefix can be a mutation rather than a new base creature.

Area pages narrow the search

Open the Scroomdex through hotbar slot 3. Uncaught entries can appear as dark cards or question marks, while an undiscovered area can remain unknown until found. Separate a missing catch in a familiar region from discovering a new region.

Your next questionChoose a known-area entry, or make finding the region the goal first.

Rarity is a tier, not a universal spawn rule

The tiers are Common, Uncommon, Rare, Wondrous, Fabled, and Eversung. Grove examples include Common Redcap, Rare Bramblepip, and Fabled Koroom. Pale Vessel and Violet Fool are Eversung entries in other areas. A shared tier does not establish shared weather or exact odds.

A narrower huntUse the entry’s area and frequency together; rarity alone is not a search route.

Read the base name before the prefix

Mossy, Frozen, and Blazing are mutation prefixes. Read the base creature separately when checking a collection goal. A modified Redcap does not become a newly documented base species just because its full name differs.

A clear collection targetName the base creature, known area, and missing result. Check the Index after catching it.
Catch diagnosis

SCROOMS Instruments: Match the Attribute to the Catch Problem

Identify the failed stage before upgrading: frequency tuning, holding the catch zone, or reaching a target’s range. Attributes describe different jobs. I would change one condition and retry a familiar creature, so the next result explains more than random tool switching.

Tuning takes too long

The slow part is matching the waveform before the capture stage.

Attribute to examineTune Speed concerns the tuning step; Luck describes a different purpose.

Read the stage-specific value
Compare the equipped and proposed tool’s Tune Speed. If that is the intended improvement, test tuning on a familiar creature rather than assume the capture bar also changes.
Confirm the observed change
Notice whether matching frequency finishes more easily. If you lose the creature afterward, check zone control instead; faster entry is not stable capture.

The creature leaves the zone

Capture progress drains while the creature is outside the catch zone.

Attribute to examinePrecision concerns zone width, Harmony its movement, and Tension the creature’s follow response.

Identify the control obstacle
Watch whether you need more room, less zone movement, or different follow response. Compare the matching tooltip; Luck does not explain a drag-control failure.
Repeat a familiar capture
Retry an ordinary catch with the alternative equipped. Look for longer time inside the zone and a full bar. If it remains unstable, practice smaller drag corrections before another purchase.

Your target is outside the useful range

The creature’s listed frequency is the obstacle rather than a slow tuning action.

Attribute to examineResonance describes frequency reach; it is separate from tuning speed and rarity attraction.

Compare the actual ranges
Compare the target frequency with the current Resonance tooltip. Use that creature’s range, rather than a remembered number from another catch or older item.
Choose a reachable test
Test a reachable familiar target. If that succeeds, expanded reach becomes a specific upgrade purpose; it does not establish a rarity probability.
Resource planning

SCROOMS Chimes: Budget a Purchase After Selling

Chimes are the music-note purchase currency. Julian’s sales and the opening quest supply different earning contexts. Read the balance and current offer before shopping. These cases explain budget arithmetic; they do not create shop prices or assign creatures fixed sell values.

Use the introductory offer as a known example

The opening quest gives 125 Chimes and the tutorial offers a 100-Chime guitar. A balance of exactly 125 leaves 25 after that purchase. A sale may change your actual balance, so read it again.

Known tutorial context
125-Chime quest reward; 100-Chime introductory guitar offer.
  • Check the current balance and displayed guitar offer before accepting the purchase.
  • If your balance is exactly 125 and you buy at 100, compare the remaining 25 with the reserve you wanted.

Protect a chosen reserve before shopping

Illustrative inputs of 240 Chimes, a 100-Chime price, and a 50 reserve leave 190 spendable. One whole purchase fits and leaves 140 total.

  • Subtract the protected 50 before counting purchases. Divide the remaining 190 by the entered 100 price and round down.
  • For a target of two such purchases while retaining 50, the total needed is 250. The illustrative balance is short by 10.

After the sale, read the new balance

The planned purchase fitsBuy only after checking the item’s purpose and access, then equip it through the bag. Affordability alone does not prove it solves your catch problem.
The balance is shortUse the exact shortfall as a saving target. Catch and sell, then recalculate from the resulting balance instead of guessing creature values.
The Next Step

SCROOMS Quests: Find the Five Grove Statues

Halden, on the log by the campfire and red tents, assigns five Grove Statue visits in The Next Step. Visit them in any order and use E to Pay Respects at each. I would start with the nearest recognizable landmark and record completed stops. Return to Halden after all five register.

LandmarkWhere to lookQuest interactionCompletion check

Cal’s house

Check the nearby statue before searching a different house cluster.

LandmarkLook beside Cal’s house.
InteractUse E to Pay Respects at this statue.
Check progressConfirm the Cal-house stop registers before moving toward another building. If it does not, check the statue interaction.

Luca and Bennie’s houses

Use the pair of houses as the landmark, rather than either NPC alone.

LandmarkFind the statue between their houses.
InteractUse E to Pay Respects at this statue.
Check progressConfirm the stop between the two houses registers. A visit to either NPC alone does not substitute for the statue.

River and large brown tree

The river landmark separates this stop from the statues by buildings.

LandmarkSearch between the waterfall and Beekeeper Jones near the huge brown tree.
InteractUse E to Pay Respects at this statue.
Check progressCheck that the waterside stop registers before leaving the tree. If unsure, compare the waterfall and Beekeeper Jones landmarks.

Behind the seller’s shop

Check the back of the building rather than stop at the sale interaction.

LandmarkGo behind the shop near the spawn area.
InteractUse E to Pay Respects at this statue.
Check progressConfirm the shop’s rear statue registers. Completing a merchant sale at the front is a different interaction.

Shax and Grove Lift

Use the lift landmark to distinguish the final area from the house stops.

LandmarkFind the statue near Shax and the Grove Lift.
InteractUse E to Pay Respects at this statue.
Check progressConfirm the lift-side stop registers near Shax. Then compare your completed landmarks before returning to Halden.
Return travel

SCROOMS Songs: Return with Homeward Melody

Homeward Melody is useful when your next action belongs at the spawn you have set. It uses the Ocarina utility rather than the catching instrument’s tuning and capture stages. The documented note sequence is Left, Down, Up, Left. Treat the return destination as your set spawn, not a promise that every player always lands in the Grove.

Use the utility for a deliberate return

  1. 1

    Select the Ocarina

Use the Ocarina slot after receiving the reward; the opening guide places this utility on hotbar slot 5. Confirm that you are using the song interface, because a catching instrument and its frequency display answer a different task.

Ready to playThe song utility is selected. If it is absent, check the reward and bag state before guessing another unlock.
  2. 2

    Play Left, Down, Up, Left

Follow the displayed arrow buttons in that order for Homeward Melody. Read each direction carefully rather than copy the movement controls from the catching tutorial. The sequence is the useful exact instruction; no invented timing bonus or extra note is needed.

Sequence completedYou have entered the four directions in order. If you made a different sequence, return to the displayed song interface and try the documented order again.
  3. 3

Check where the return places you

Confirm that the destination matches your set spawn and choose the next merchant, quest, or exploration action from there. If you expected the Grove but your spawn is elsewhere, the destination expectation needs checking before you assume that the song failed.

Return verifiedYou can identify the arrival location and the action it serves. For another destination, plan the onward route rather than assume this one melody selects every region.

SCROOMS Wiki Questions

Is this an official SCROOMS website?

This is an independent fan wiki. The linked Roblox experience and SCROOMS creator community are official game destinations. Use those for creator announcements, and Roblox Support for platform account issues. Wiki comparisons and route suggestions are editorial guidance.

Why are Roblox creation and public release different dates?

The Roblox record says the experience was created on June 8, 2026. The public-launch coverage identifies October 10, 2026. The Hero labels the former as Roblox creation, while the release guide explains public availability. Neither date should be silently substituted for the other.

Why is a Rogue Lineage mushroom guide not used here?

Similar Scroom names can refer to another Roblox experience. This wiki covers the musical catching game linked above. Rogue Lineage transformation or race instructions do not establish a mechanic here.

Is The Undergarden already a released patch in this guide?

The official event names The Undergarden Beneath the Grove for October 24, 2026. That is future announcement context, not a verified released patch. Updates separates the event, patch details, and wiki dates.

Does the Chimes calculator predict the value of my catch?

It uses your entered balance, price, and reserve to count affordable purchases. It does not assume a creature’s sale value or catch odds. Read the actual balance after Julian’s sale interaction, then use that number for your own purchase plan.
