SCROOMS Grove Statues Locations: All Five Landmarks
Find all five Grove Statues by house, river, shop, and lift landmarks, use Pay Respects at each, and return to Halden for the Ocarina.
The five SCROOMS Grove Statues are beside Cal's house, between Luca's and Bennie's houses, near the river's large brown tree, behind the Seller's Shop, and near Shax and the Grove Lift. Use Pay Respects at each one, then return to Halden to complete The Next Step.
Use landmarks as a checklist
| Stop | Landmark | What to do there |
|---|---|---|
| Cal’s house | Beside the house | Approach the pedestal and Pay Respects |
| Luca and Bennie | Between their houses | Register this separate statue interaction |
| River-side tree | Large brown tree between the waterfall and Beekeeper Jones | Find the pedestal near the river and interact |
| Seller’s Shop | Behind the shop near spawn | Check the back rather than stopping at the merchant |
| Shax and Grove Lift | Near the lift-side NPC area | Pay Respects, then return to Halden |
These are five distinct stops, not a required sequence. You can pay respects in any order. The checklist is useful because the Grove contains several nearby landmarks, and it is easy to walk past a statue while focusing on an NPC or a shop.
Start with a stop you already recognize. If you are near spawn, the Seller's Shop and Shax side are useful anchors. If you are near Halden's camp, the Cal and river landmarks may be easier to recognize. This is a route-planning choice based on your position, not a game rule that one statue must come first.
Check the two house landmarks separately
At Cal's house, look beside the building for the statue on its round stone pedestal. Use the interaction there before moving toward another stop. Do not count a house visit as a statue interaction; the quest asks for Pay Respects at the statue itself.
The next house landmark is the space between Luca's and Bennie's houses. Treat those two homes as the anchor pair. If you keep returning to Cal because that is the house you recognize, pause and identify the Luca-and-Bennie pair instead. The two entries are different locations on your checklist.
The statues can hold different instruments and may be standing or sitting. A pose difference does not make one irrelevant to the quest. The stone pedestal and the Pay Respects interaction are more useful identifiers than expecting every statue to look identical from a distance.
Find the river-side stop through the brown tree
The river statue sits near a large brown tree, between the waterfall and Beekeeper Jones. Halden's camp is another nearby point of reference, so this stop fits naturally into a trip that has already brought you to him.
Use the tree and river together rather than treating every big Grove tree as the destination. Once you identify the pedestal, approach it and perform Pay Respects. If you are trying to remember whether this was already completed, compare your checklist or current quest progress before continuing.
This is a landmark description, not a coordinate or compass-bearing route. Camera orientation changes what looks left or right, which is why named buildings, the river, and recognizable NPC areas are better anchors for the guide.
Finish the spawn and lift side
For the fourth landmark, check behind the Seller's Shop near spawn. A trip to the merchant can take your attention to the front of the building, so specifically check the back rather than assuming you have seen the statue because you already sold a catch.
For the fifth landmark, look near Shax and the Grove Lift. Use that area as a distinct stop after the shop. This keeps the nearby spawn-side landmarks separate and helps avoid counting one visible pedestal twice.
You can reverse or rearrange this route freely. If the houses are the landmarks you know best, do those first; if you arrive from spawn, start with the shop and lift side. What matters is five different interactions, followed by the return conversation.
Use Pay Respects at each pedestal
Approach the statue and use its Pay Respects interaction. E is the confirmed keyboard control. Merely standing at the correct landmark does not perform the action the quest requests.
After each stop, take a moment to note which landmark you have finished. A five-stop list is small enough to track by name. That is especially helpful when one interaction is missing: you can return to the uncertain landmark instead of replaying the whole walk without knowing which stop failed to count.
If the quest still wants another respect, first check whether you interacted at every named location. The most likely useful correction is completing a missed interaction or finding the overlooked pedestal, rather than buying catching equipment for a task that asks you to navigate and interact.
Return to Halden for the reward
Once all five respects are complete, return to Halden at the Grove campfire and speak to him. He gives the Ocarina as the reward. The statue search and the reward conversation are separate parts of The Next Step, so do not stop the route at the final pedestal.
After unlocking it, the Ocarina becomes your utility song tool. Homeward Melody can return you to your set spawn point. The Ocarina guide explains the tool, while The Next Step walkthrough connects the whole task to the opening tutorial.
Keep the active statue objective open in the official Roblox game while following these landmarks.
