The Ocarina is separate from the instrument used for capturing creatures. Halden’s quest supplies the tool, while a learned melody supplies a particular utility effect. Homeward Melody uses Left, Down, Up, Left and returns to the set spawn point, which is not necessarily the original Grove spawn. If the fifth-slot tool is unavailable, finish the statue reward conversation first. If it is available, read the selected song and its purpose before entering notes.
