SCROOMS Tamer’s Guitar: Early Catching Attributes and Use
Understand Tamer’s Guitar’s Precision and Luck, equip it after purchase, and decide which catching problem your next upgrade should solve.
Tamer’s Guitar is an early SCROOMS catching upgrade introduced through the opening tutorial. The launch comparison lists 6% Precision and 5% Luck, against 2% Precision and 0% Luck on the Wooden Lute.
Understand the guitar's early role
The guitar gives you a first shop upgrade after using the free lute. Its displayed Precision improvement is relevant when you want more catch-zone room; the Luck attribute belongs to rare attraction. These are different benefits, so buying the guitar is not a promise that the next catch will be rare.
| Instrument | Precision | Luck |
|---|---|---|
| Wooden Lute | 2% | 0% |
| Tamer’s Guitar | 6% | 5% |
Use the upgrade after buying it
Select the guitar in the Equipment Bag's Instruments tab, equip it, and close the bag. The game teaches the purchase and equipment actions separately. If you keep catching with the old instrument selected, ownership alone has not put the guitar into your routine.
During a catch, the basic rules remain the same: tune before the creature commits and keep it inside the zone until progress completes. The guitar gives you a different equipment spread; it does not skip those actions.
Decide what to improve after the guitar
If tuning is your main delay, compare Tune Speed on later gear. If a target is outside your frequency reach, compare Resonance. If the creature repeatedly leaves the zone, focus on control and the attributes that support it. That is a more useful next step than treating one early purchase as an answer to every kind of catch.
